'NEW WORLDS'
IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE
THE OLD MARKET, BRIGHTON
Thursday 23 - Friday 24 March

This March The Old Market and Halina Rice are bringing you a new immersive experience transforming the theatre space with 360 visuals and spatial sound.

With the explosion of interest in immersive creativity the way we are experiencing music, art and drama is changing.  Electronic music producer and AV artist Halina Rice brings her unique vision to this new experience and translates elements of her show - described as "part rave, part art-happening"  into the space in a way that it has never been seen before.

The audio will be presented in L-ISA hyperreal sound by L-Acoustics with multiple speakers positioned all around the space to deliver a fully immersive experience.

The experience is presented in two parts:

Installation - from 2pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday 23rd March and Thursday 24th March

During the day there will be a free to view installation - visit the space and be immersed in visuals and music - relax on bean bags and feel transported.

Performance and Q&A - 7.30pm on Wednesday 23rd March and Thursday 24th March

On each evening there will be a 40 minute performance given in the round incorporating emotive electronic music, lights and 360 projections. Following this Halina along with a guest TBA will be giving a Q&A on how the installation was created and the growing importance of immersive technologies in the arts.

Please note as this is seated performance and Q&A session places are limited to 150 each evening.

Please note there are strobe lights used in this performance.
